  • Notes
    • In 1692, Walter McKey was a Highland Fencible man in Muckloch, Kerremenoch, and Strone, and Ever McKay was a Highland Fencible man in Barr.

In 1694, John and Gilnive McKay occupied two hearths in Pensurach, John McKay occupied a hearth in Kilmichell, John McKay occupied a hearth in Achahoan, John McKey occupied a hearth in Colphyne, and Farchar McKay occupied a hearth in Campbeltown.

Donald Clark "of Drumlemble," was "late Bailly in Campbeltown," in 1709.

Ferquhard McKay and his spouse, Barbra McAlaster, baptized a daughter named Katharine in the Highland Church in Campbeltown on 29 January 1729. This is likely the same person, as they were both recorded as living in Drumlemble.
