  • Notes
    • In 1692, William Hunter was a fencible man in Knockriochbeg.

In 1694, Duncan Hunter occupied a hearth in Darlachlan.

On 7 May 1709 William Hunter "in Tumock" [Tomaig in Campbeltown parish] received a tack to the "2 1/2 mklands of Drumlea presently possesst by the respective tenants therein."

William Hunter and Mary Hunter were married on 15 December 1691 in Campbeltown. They baptized the following children:
      Elspeth - 1693
      James - 1695
      Marie - 1698
      Finnuall - 1700
      John - 1704
      William - 1707

Mary Hunter is likely the person mentioned in this record, which indicates that she died sometime between 1708 and 1710.

William appears to have married Jonnet Hunter sometime afterward, and they baptized a son named Robert in Campbeltown on 22 March 1713. This is the only entry for this couple in the parish registry.

No marriage record could be located for this couple.

See KM 11, p. 17, for more information on this family.
