  • Notes
    • In 1694, Robert Armour occupied a hearth in Kildavi, and James and Allexander Armour occupied two hearths in "Traligill."

On 3 May 1709 James Armour in "Trudigall" and Margaret Thomson his mother received a tack for one merkland of the 2 merklands of Tradigall. Robert was likely related to this family. James was born on 18 January 1681 to Alexander Armour and Margaret Thomson.

This Robert may have been the son of Robert Armour and Margaret Thomson, who baptized a child named Robert in Campbeltown on 13 March 1692, and who possibly married Martha Langwill on 20 December 1716.

Note that there was another couple named Robert Armour and Isobel Stewart who baptized a child named Susanna on 5 October 1715 in Campbeltown.

Further research is necessary to confirm this person's identity.
