  • Notes
    • In 1692, John Andrew and David, "his son," were fencible men in Achaleik.

In the 1709/10 Rental List, on 7 May 1709 David received a tack for a single markland of "Achaleck" along with John Andrew who received a tack for the remaining markland.

There are multiple men named David Andrew who appear in the Lowland parish records. More research is needed to determine whether they are the same individual. However, because the available evidence indicates that there was only one person named David Andrew living in Campbeltown in the early 1690s, I believe that the first two entries are most likely for the same individual.

David Andrew + Jane Porter baptized one child in 1688
David Andrew + Jenat Dunlap baptized six children between 1694 and 1707.
David Andrew + Margaret Templeton baptized seven children between 1715 and 1721.
