  • Notes
    • "And William Anderson [the]re is likeways found guilty of his burying of Allan Anderson his Fa[the]r in Linen Cloath by his own Confession."

Allan likely died before 3 May 1709 when his son and wife received the tack to Clochkeil, which would mean that he likely died in Machrihanish, as that is the location given for the family prior to this date.

Both Allan and John, "in Machriahanish," were listed as Lowland fencible men in 1692.

Allan Anderson and Margaret Pecoak baptized the following children:
      Marion - 1688
      Margaret - 1692
      Isabel - 1695
      Mary - 1698
      James - 1701
      Thomas - 1703
      Allan - 1707
